Sophia’s Sapphire is one of the coziest one bedroom cabins in Asheville. It is a unique woodland cottage with a great view from the back deck. One can look over of the Lady of the Lake Fountain beside Cherry Blossom Lane below. The sounds of both that fountain and the Starburst Fountain above blend in with the sounds of nature. This gives Sophia’s a very peaceful ambiance. The beautiful forests of the Blue Ridge Parkway join the green woodland gardens that surround the cabin.
Like all of the Asheville cabins of Willow Winds, it is decorated in a unique and tasteful manner. It includes a rock fireplace and leather easy chairs. The cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling windows give plenty of light and spaciousness to this one bedroom cabin.

We were missing the mountains of Colorado, but that was too far to go for a week; so we decided on Asheville. I went on the internet and found Willow Winds ---what a Wonderful Place! It has felt like a second home, and we hate to leave….These cabins are wonderful—thanks to the wonderful staff for attending to all things that make staying here such a pleasure! We can’t wait to come back when we can use the fireplace!

What a lovely place! We came to Asheville because of a wedding. The cottage is perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation!
If you’ve never been to the Arboretum! It is close by & has exhibits & trails & a fabulous bonsai garden! The fee is $6.00 per car for an all day pass. Well worth the money. We’re going to check out Asheville before we return to Durham today. It’s our plan to return in the fall & do some bicycle riding. Thanks to all who have written of their adventures in this book –and a huge thank you to the management and staff –Good Job!

We came here for a week long getaway. We went to Chimney Rock, Very Beautiful place to visit. I proposed to my girlfriend at Chimney Rock and couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to do so. This cabin was very nice and romantic and we will be back. Willow Winds is a nice place to visit with all it has to offer.

My husband and I came back to Asheville for a quick weekend get-away. This is our second time to stay at Willow Winds and we absolutely love it here. It’s so peaceful and serene and such a nice change from everyday life back in Asheville. We love to shop and eat here…so eclectic!.....Thanks Willow Winds for providing a great little retreat.
