This two bedroom Asheville vacation rental provides the best that Asheville has to offer. It is located on the bank overlooking a mountain stream and looks down on a lighted fountain beneath it. The great room is both spacious, with cathedral ceilings and windows to match during the day, and cozy at night with the floor to ceiling rock fireplace. The lower level is tastefully and uniquely decorated to provide a romantic bedroom ambiance. In addition to the decorations, our luxury mattresses are designed for a perfect night’s sleep. When the shades are open in the day it is also sunny and bright. With both the views and the luxury touches and amenities, there is no finer vacation rental in Asheville than Michael’s hideaway.

This cabin is our new dream home! ....Willow Winds and Michael’s Hideaway is a great place to vacation and to get away. We finally got to see the mountains and snow.
The cabin was great, nice and warm, the hike was wonderful and the Blue Ridge Parkway views are spectacular. We look forward to coming back next year with our new baby!

I have visited Asheville many times, but this is the first time my husband has been here. We are having a great time. Asheville has something for everyone – many, many places to go. Willow Winds has been a wonderful place to stay. Anyplace can provide a place to sleep and clean up --- but it’s the little things that made the stay. Quiet, clean, games, hammocks, chairs around the pond, movies, friendly staff, etc. Thank you! We are thoroughly enjoying our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Winds! Our family had three generations staying in three side-by-side cabins – perfect accommodations to give everyone ample room – yet be together as a family. The teeny kids really enjoyed the games by the office, and the “boys” (young and old) got into some pretty spirited water balloon fights!
We had a fun, activity packed week….We’ll always remember our great week at Willow Winds.

We enjoyed every inch of Willow Winds ~~ from the playground, to the Hiking Trail, to our comfortable, clean cabin. It’s not always easy to find the accommodations that are so comfortable for a family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was our first trip to Willow Winds & it was a perfect retreat. For years our family enjoyed camping & outdoor activities but this time we needed a blend of hiking & biking & COMFORT.
Michael’s Hideaway was all that we’d hoped for. Well-Kept, beautifully decorated and supplied. My children loved the game porch, which your staff maintained & repaired quickly—if needed—and your other “creative” actives kept us entertained & relaxed.
You really have a perfect location – wooded yet near great restaurants and we have enjoyed every minute. Thank you for your attention to detain & comfort. We will definitely be back to relax and explore Asheville!! What a great place to escape the Georgia heat!

Thank you so much for creating Willow Winds. It has been a joy staying here. The cabin is A-1 and the staff and grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the fishing and caught a “Big” one. Listening to the fountains while rocking on the deck was so relaxing. And the hot tub~~ what can you say but great! During our stay we enjoyed Mt. Mitchell, Biltmore Estate and grounds, The Folk Art Center and Mt. Pisgah. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing, romantic getaway! We will be back.

Willow Winds is the ideal spot for reconnecting with family and nature. Our seven year old, Alex, just loved all the activities and meeting neighbors at the game areas. Your son, Chris, was so friendly and played basketball with Alex several times. He’s a great kid & host. Asheville is a beautiful and interesting area. You have it all here….We will be back hopefully in the fall.
