Asheville Dining Guide

No vacation rental or hotel has more dining options than Willow Winds. Four options for dining while at willow Winds:

Dine in one of the more than 100 quality restaurants as well as the usual fast food eateries within fifteen minutes of Willow Winds.
Have "Your Secret Kitchen" prepare your meal and deliver to your cabin for cooking.

Purchase your own groceries and prepared foods in nearby upscale supermarkets with delis (Harris Teeter, Ingles, and Earth Fare) within five to 10 minutes of Willow Winds.

While each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, and there are three upscale supermarkets with pharmacies (one is open 24 hours) within two miles, there are a number of dining options near Willow Winds.

Within a four mile radius there are numerous restaurants of all kinds - from fast food to gourmet dining, with a number of moderately priced family restaurants in between. Two of Asheville's finest restaurants - the Southside Café and Frankie Bones are within 2 miles of Willow Winds on Route 25. The Atlanta Bread Company has delicious breakfast, and lunch sandwiches and pastries, and the Texas Roadhouse has great steaks (please call ahead to avoid a long wait). Provence 620 is a local favorite and has wonderful lunch and dinners. For dining on the lake, try Boathouse on Lake Julian. For a great authentic Mediterranean experience try Pomodoros.

There are several quaint shops and nice restaurants only 3.5 miles away in the historic Biltmore Village area, Ichiban for Japanese cuisine and La Paz Cantina for good Mexican dishes and our favorite, Corner Kitchen. Rezaz is another close by restaurant which has consistently wonderful food.

Only 10-15 minutes away are the many cafe's, bistros, and fine restaurants of downtown Asheville. Vigne an exciting new contemporary restaurant and Vincenzo's, a fine Italian restaurant with live music and the unique Tupelo Honey Cafe, are but a few of the choices available in the Asheville downtown. In North Asheville, only 15 minutes away by expressway, is the Savoy Restaurant, a gourmet Italian restaurant that is one of our favorites. There is no better breakfast anywhere than the country breakfast served at the Moose Cafe by the Farmers Market.
