Dad’s is the twin cabin of Mom’s manor and is just as much a romantic cabin. It has the same features, but is decorated differently. It is a luxury Asheville cabin with everything you need for a couple or a small family to enjoy a stay in the mountain. The choice of ether an indoor Jacuzzi or an outdoor hot tub makes for a very pleasant stay.
Dad’s is decorated with several special touches, items collected by the owners. Its forest green color complements the heavy timber posts in the great room very nicely, and its luxury leather chairs and couches make for a comfortable evening before the stone fireplace.
For either a day time on our porch rockers or a nighttime view from our hot tub, the scenery from upper and lower decks are hard to beat. They provide a good view of some of the most beautiful features of Willow Winds, Including the lighted fountains in the trout pond and the lighted waterfall. The putting green and the mountain stream below also provide an enchanting view.

We had a wonderful stay here at Dad’s Digs! The trout pond was a HUGE hit. We could hardly get away! The cabins are conveniently located to just about anywhere you want to go! The staff was also extremely helpful in every way possible! The hiking trail is great here too. It was the perfect place! We hope to be back soon!

Thank you so much for a wonderful visit, a dusting of snow, hot tub, and a frozen landscape were the perfect backdrop for my big 50th birthday.
My husband and I really enjoyed playing in the snow with complete silence. Solitude is the perfect setting for people who work too many hours with the public.

This place is absolutely adorable. We felt right at home instantly. This was definitely a weekend that we will never forget; my boyfriend proposed to me right here in front of this lovely fireplace. I wish the next guests a very happy stay, and just as much luck.

What a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. It was just perfect for our family. The scenery is beautiful and the staff are so helpful. Be sure to ask them where to eat, they will really help you out. And don’t forget to feed the squirrels. They will come right to the door! Watch out! They might come right in. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

My family and I loved Willow Winds! It is the most family friendly place we have stayed in a long time. The kids loved everything Willow Winds had to offer. It is so quiet and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The wild life is great; we had a friend on our deck (squirrel) he seemed to like pizza crust We are coming back for sure next time with the whole family. I don’t know if we will ever be able to stay anywhere else on vacation. I hope the next people enjoy their stay as much as we did

Our first day here was soooo relaxing and peaceful! With our busy work schedule. It is a great “slow down and relax” place to be.
The sights are truly spectacular. The view from the cabin is…..well, to be seen. I am looking forward to our next visit here later in the year!

This is the second year my husband’s family has come to Asheville & we have loved staying at Willow Winds. We celebrated our in-laws 50th wedding anniversary with family spread out thru 5 cabins with pond views.
Our children have run thru the wood, played at the “game room”, launched water balloons, fished for trout….everything here has been so family & child friendly. My kids are not as used to being outside like this, compared to their cousins from FA, SC, & VA. We are from Arizona & nothing compares to this!
We sincerely hop that we are able to come back to Willow winds for another stay. It was truly amazing & we feel re-energized to get back to real life & (unfortunately) back to 100+ degree heat!

We’ve had a wonderful week here at Willow Winds! This has truly been “home away from home”! Everything we’ve needed / wanted was provided. Can’t believe how quiet
It is here, even with other people close by!
We walked the grounds, but I especially appreciated thee treadmill in the gym. We’ve had more fun with the 3 squirrels who have been daily visitors on the deck. We’ve been feeding them peanuts and they’re so bold, they come to the door, look in & click their nails on the glass!
We’ve stayed in other cabins in the Asheville area ~~ this is definitely THE BEST! We’re sorry to leave, but we’re already planning our next visit. Can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful place for a family vacation! It was so nice to have great indoor / outdoor areas and so much for the kids to do. The front office staff was so helpful. We loved the water balloon catapults!
