From funny to reflective this weekend in Asheville
The 35 Below Theater Presents “The Beards of Comedy” The Beards of Comedy will be passing every barber shop on their way into Asheville this weekend to perform their uniquely crafted comedy show at the 35 Below Theatre. Each of the four Beards is an accomplished Stand- Up Comedian in their own right, but together they are building hairy following that is growing out of control. The Beards of Comedy bring a strong nucleus of Stand-Up Comedy, ignited by sparks of sketch comedy that create a fully rounded, and unkempt comedy experience. The show is gathering rave reviews all the way from Atlanta to New York City, where the Beards recently groomed their way on stage at the First Annual “NYC Beard and Mustache World Championships.” The Beards are growing out of control and so is the performance they deliver. “The Beards have changed the way I think about humanity.” -Sean Keenan (From MTV’s “Talking Baby”) “I think my beard grew a few inches form laughing so much” -Charlie Gerencer (Emmy Nominated Comedy Producer for NBC’s Last Comic Standing) Jun 12, 2009 to Jun 13, 2009 http://www.ashevilletheatre.org/
